At The Jive Club ! It's much more than just a dance class, it's a whole evening's entertainment.

The evening starts with a beginners class. We teach some of the basic moves, how to dance them to music and how to join the moves together. After the beginners class, there is 'freestyle' which is your opportunity to practice what you've learnt or relax and have a drink at the bar. Then follows a 2nd (intermediate) class which is harder than the beginners although everyone is welcome to have a go.

Do I need to book?

No. Just turn up. All The Jive Club ! evenings have a beginners class where even a complete beginner (I.e. no dance experience) will be able to learn some basic moves. If you miss a week or two, it doesn't matter.

Do I need to bring a partner?

No. Come on your own or with friends. The classes are structured so everyone gets to mix. It's always a very friendly, fun and sociable atmosphere so it's easy to meet new people and make new friends.
